Prof. Xinyu Wu(IEEE Fellow)

Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhen, China

Xinyu Wu (Fellow, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in automation and computer-aided engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2008.,He is currentl a Professor with Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhen, China. He is the Director of the Center for Intelligent Bionic, Shenzhen, China. His research interests include computer vision, robotics, and intelligent systems.

Prof. Zhiwu Li(IEEE Fellow)

Xidian University

Zhiwu Li received the B.S. degree in mechanical manufacturing, M.S. degree in mechatronics, and Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, all from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 1989, 1992, and 1995, respectively. Dr. Li held visiting professor position at the University of Toronto, Technion (Israel Institute of Technology), Martin-Luther University at Halle (supported by Alexander von Humboldt Foundation), University of Cagliari, Politecnico di Bari, Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (Cnam, supported by the program of Research in Paris), King Saud University, and Meliksah University. He has published three monographs in Springer (2009; 2023) and CRC Press (2013). Currently he is a Chair Professor with the Macau University of Science and Technology. He is research was cited by leading business giants IBM, HP, ABB, Volvo, GE, GM, Mitsubishi, Ford Car, Hitachi and Huawei. His current interests include Petri net theory & application, production automation, and supervisory control of discrete event systems. He is a Fellow of IEEE (2016) and was selected as Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers in the category of Engineering from 2014-2018.

Prof. Mouquan Shen

Nanjing Tech University

Mouquan Shen received the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering from the College of Information Science and Engineering, Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2011.,He is currently a Professor with Nanjing Tech University, Nanjing, China. His current research interests include Markov jump systems, adaptive control, data-driven-based control, robust control, and interactive learning control.

Prof. Ning Sun(Young Changjiang Scholar)

Nankai University

Ning Sun, born in 1988, is currently a Professor of Nankai University and an IEEE Senior Member. He was awarded the prestigious Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan (Standard), the Hundred Young Academic Leaders Program of Nankai University, and many provincial/institute level talents/honorary titles. He received the B.S. degree in measurement & control technology and instruments (with honors) from Wuhan University in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in control theory and control engineering (with honors) from Nankai University in 2014, under the supervision of Prof. Yongchun Fang. His research interests include intelligent control and applications for underactuated robots (cranes, etc.), pneumatic artificial muscle robots, industrial robots, etc., with a focus on the combination of theory and practice. Research interests: (1) Underactuated robots (cranes, etc.); (2) Pneumatic artificial muscle robots; (3) Industrial robots; (4) Intelligent control and applications. Lab address: Underactuated Robots Lab (URL), College of Artificial Intelligence, Nankai University (Jinnan Campus).

Prof. Yan Qin

Chongqing University

Yan Qin received the B.S. degree in electronic information engineering from Information Engineering University, Zhengzhou, China, in 2011, the M.S. degree in control theory and control engineering from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2018. From 2019 to 2022, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore, and the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He is currently the Professor of the School of Automation, Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. His research interests include data-driven process monitoring, soft sensor modeling, and remaining useful life estimation for industrial processes and essential assets.
